"Royal Rumble..." I still don't get that name.
-I get the theme... at least in the sense it's something they got businesses to sponsor... Time for us to think of other alternatives that can also attract sponsors. hmmm...
preferably things that don't bring in to many vendors to compete with crafters already on site... hmmm

Back to your pirate planning before I pirate away the thread...  ::)

I suppose pirate would be good-show support for the Bloodwake.   I'll come up with something.  No boots, though.  Damn my feet were killin' me until I switched to my oh so VERY comfortable Willing Soles leather sandals.   ;D 8)

Anyone get out to the special events area outside the fence to see what was there for "Health and Wellness"?

We strolled over to the special events field on Saturday afternoon with Goody.  The vendors were along the same lines as those you'd see at the Living Green Expo (we volunteer at that every year - it is in early May )- everything from a rainbarrel kit to Northern Sun to organic lotions etc - but there weren't that many vendors or people for that matter.

We didn't go back on Sunday - but the arm wrestling contest was moved to the Special Events field on Sunday so perhaps that encouraged more people to wander over that way.

I heard about this (http://www.mtcmarathon.org/) on the radio on my way in on Saturday. I wonder if they were trying to do something similar a weekend before to try to attract that crowd.
