after a long and dry summer with little rain...and the drought causing several old and precious trees to die...the rains have come. and the grounds are enjoying the precipitation. drinking it all up and wanting for more. the rains have confirmed what we witnessed earlier--that there is great drainage and there will not be a mud problem to speak of even on rain days. the sandy soil is perfect. bring it on!
vendors need to get building on their booths.
i will be sending specific emails out next week encouraging construction to get under way in fine fashion.
the grounds folk will hit the clearing of brush, roots, and limbs next week. then, we will complete the booths and the backdrops of the stages.
after that is done, we install two septic systems and build the restrooms, as well as start the underground electrical lines around the parimeter. time is running short, but excitement is high.
keep spreading the word. the rains are preparing our forst roots for a grand and illustrious spring season!
