Thanks for the update moondawg, I am hoping our structure is still standing from all the rains in the area, We are planning to try and make it up this weekend to frame out the roof.
Great photo's MD, looks like I'll just have to drive down for opening. Glad there having it when it's still cool.
WOW! things are looking really great! can't wait until Feb to make my way out.
looks nice, glad to see that another faire will be close to home. Ill be out there this year for sure.
Looking great! I can't wait to come visit in the new year!
Was out there yesterday working on the building, There was a crew of about 10 working and it appears they have cleared a very large amount of the low hanging branches and now you can see much further through the forest, It looks great. I was very amazed at how much as been done on the grounds over the last few weeks.
ignorant question: When is opening day for sherwood?

huzzah!! Thanks RenStarr!
The pictures look great. Very exciting to have a new faire in Texas! ;D
Was out last weekend decking our building and getting the tar paper up , What a day. The grounds are looking great, It has a much better open feel to it now that so much of the low hanging branches have been trimmed. Seems there are booths going up and hopefully more will soon. It had rained very heavy before we got there but the sand really soaks it up so you never have that muddy feel when walking around, It will get better as the rye comes in over the rest of the grounds.
It was good to see everyone out at the site on sat.(5th)
lots of building was going on and the area is looking great. We finished most of our shingling on the roof but it got to cold after 4 hours of being up on the roof :)
Does anyone know what vendor is building that monster of a booth near the back area of the faire?
Max
