I have previously written about Halloween this Saturday night in Bastrop. Sherwood Forest Faire is the sponsor of one of the contests that night, the pumpkin carving contest. Little did we know, those of us in the Bastrop Downtown Business Alliance, that our event would receive national recognition, at least according to one reviewer. Check it out:

very tempted to drive out and join since I'm in Austin for the weekend :) I love TRF but, Jack makes a lot of money on All Hallows Eve and I can't afford to be out of town.
