Title: In Search of a Vendor
Post by: leslie511 on November 18, 2009, 10:24:26 AM
I'm at my wits end and am hoping that someone here can help...

I'm trying to track down a vendor who was at Scarborough probably 4-5 years ago.
He was in Pecan Grove towards the joust - just a tent, not a permanent booth.

They were selling banded djembes (african drums) They were absolutely gorgeous in subtle color patterns, not the usual plain browns.

I've been trying in vain to find the name/contact info for this vendor - anyone know who I'm talking about?

Have you emailed the faire and talked to the vendor coordinator?  Wes might remember, also.

I did actually send a few email asking, but got no reply from Scarby Management.

That vendor would be The Giving Tree (http://givingtreemusic.com/store.htm).  They are at MNRF as well.
