Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival / A Carillon on Christmas Eve
Last post by Patrick - December 25, 2025, 08:30:05 AMA very popular show and instrument on the ren faire circuit I have found is Cast in Bronze, also called Bells 2 Go, involving a carillon. Definitely a favorite of mine for a long time.
On Christmas Eve 1957, New York City photographer O. Winston Link recorded a carillon in Rural Retreat, Virginia, playing Silent Night, while he photographed a steam powered passenger train at the town station.
It was my interest in trains that lead me to the person who told me about something called renaissance festivals.
