Indian curried lentils

I made Mulligatawney soup.  I've always loved it in Indian restaurants and made it for the first time tonight.  The experiment was a huge success - it was  so gooooood!!

Lady, congratulations upon your culinary success! Didn't make the lentils yesterday (too many projects) but will be done today with a curried fish, greens and naan. Yummm...talk about comfort food.

No, but there are plenty of sources in the area for fresh. Naan is so versatile and soooo good! Bon apetit!

Tonight I was experimenting, ended up with Cheese/Chicken Quesadillas for the Ranger, Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas and Guacamole for me. I'm still introducing him to spices and vegetables, he tried a bit of the Guacamole, "I don't hate it but ... eh"

Panseared Salmon with a chimichuri sauce over field greens tossed in a citrus vinegrette with cherry tomatoes, pecan crusted goat cheese, and steamed asparagus and haricot verde. Prissy salad. Very good.
