Super 8 is booked up for closing weekend and the others are going fast

Does the super 8 have a coffe pot in the room ?  If not I will need to get one.  Me without my morning coffee isn't a pretty sight.

Pretty sure they do!  My fiance also requires coffee in the morning.

I tried booking with Motel 8's site and they said it was booked, but was able to there with Hotels.com for opening weekend. Hope it goes through!

You may want to call and confirm that one Yrose. From what I gather, the super 8 was full completely opening weekend for sure. When Papagnome called to get the block of rooms, they told him he got the last 5 rooms for the weekend.

I called Hotels.com and they swear they have some that are reserved for them and mine is good.

Well, that's how those things work anyways.... hotels set aside a certain block for offsite website sales. So even if the hotel shows as being booked completely, the offsite websites still have some rooms available.

Depending on the weekend and which days I have to work, if friends are going with, etc. I'm might be in need of borrowing a piece of a floor in someones hotel room for my air mattress one or two of the weekends (prob. the ones when everyone is here, so I can go to faire both days.) Easier than driving all the way back from Denton the second day.

I will compensate in the form of munnys!

Last I heard on the DG rooms, there was one left (I think there was someone supposed to get it, but I don't know if they ever got back with Papagnome). When he called to block the rooms, there were only 5 left at that time so he just went ahead and blocked them all knowing that someone would need it. If anyone is in need of a room still, leave Papagnome a renmail and see if anyone has taken it yet.
As far as the online stuff... Glad you got it! Did they say if there were any more spots open?

I just booked Friday, Saturday, & Sunday at the Super 8 for Opening Weekend!    Scarby here I come!
