Vegetarian chili, made with black and kidney beans, carrots, fresh corn kernels and lots of hot and smoky spices...And cornbread.

I saw a great cornbread idea today on Food Network, Robin Miller stuffs poblano pepper halves with cornbread mix and spices and bakes them, have to try that one soon!

Tonight was spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread for me.Yum Yum!

Everyone's going for the comfort food, I see!  Next week I'm making a five cheese macaroni and cheese!

Any ideas of what five cheeses you will be using for your five cheese macaroni and cheese Lady Nicolette?

Indeed...Here they are:  Fontina, Gruyere, Blue, Australian White Cheddar and Parmesan (which we always call "paramecium cheese" at the wRenHouse).

And yes...Pasta=Comfort Food Group

I am making(at the request/demand of the spousal unit) enough chili to last for the weekend.  It will be my own secret recipe
which at the moment, is so secret, that I do not have the vaguest idea what that is as I will have to invent it first.   I am also going to experiment and make scotch eggs.
