Hey darlin, just reading a little on this.  Sounds like you're doing great!  I know my boy stresses me out sometimes too.  They want to push limits and figure out what they can get away with.  It's just a matter of finding the right punishment.  He tried pulling the too sick to go to school trick once and learned that means you stay in bed, no playing, no computer, no cartoons, nothing.  (although this changes a little if I know he truly is sick )  Depending on how much he acts up in school, punishment could range from no treats at home, no cartoons, all the way to don't come out of your room except for bathroom breaks and dinner (that only happened once).  Our newest reward for him is getting to set up the portable DVD player in his room to watch movies.  He doesn't have a TV in his room so this is a big deal to him.  However, if he gets in trouble, it gets removed.  We had to take it out yesterday because he had 3 warnings in school. 

It's hard frustrating work, but worth it!!!  And the blood sugar mood swings are a pain!  My hubby is diabetic so I get to enjoy that on a regular basis!  "Will you please go eat something!"

FairyFly that is such great news.I know that the two of you will have lots and lots of fun down there in the Sunshine State.My sister is living in Orlando right now which means that every time I go down there for a visit I get to get into the Disney World Parks for free (which is good for me since a single ticket costs a couple hundred dollars to get in) but anyway I wish you and Tiger nothing but the best.

Oh wow... I take half a day off from the forums and everything gets all shaken up!!!  LOL

I'm so happy that you'll be with family, because you just can't get that kind of support anywhere else, and it will help you so much just to have others around who love you both and want to see you healthy and happy! There is so much in FL to fascinate a child, and being able to explore the ocean and all it's surrounding will make your lives so rich and interesting!!!

Today wasn't too bad. She did well in school and was pretty good this afternoon. She read me a book, with a little help too! She's doing MUCH better! And we're going to make sure she keeps doing well even after we move. I'm so proud of her!

It's snowing today, so I'm waiting on the call that the school is closing early. Lol They went in, but I'm not sure for how long. The weather report said less than half an inch, but we're getting close to an inch now and it doesn't show signs of stopping. And I've got no corn for popping... Sorry, that song just got stuck in my head. Lol
