To be just a customer at the Fest and not a hired actor in order to post here? Sometime's I feel out of place since I don't know what people are talking about. And I would love to work there, but to far away & no friends there, not alot of funds. I just can't seem to find a man interested enough to play along and get dressed up, I only find dud's! ( EIK's!) No one seems to have the same feels I have when being at the fair, at least not that I know. I really feel connected in all way's. Like I have lived it or been there before in some way or time. But, I do come dressed as a Fairy every year, if I can find someone to go with me. Does anyone one else feel this way or go threw the same thing? I'm beginning to feel I am to much a kid of a kid at  heart and no one knows where I am coming from. Like they can't find their inner child. Where can I find these people? Someone who love's to take a chance at life and live free with out worrying about what people are going to say.

All the forums are for people who share a love of fest.  Everyone participates in faire as it suits them.  There are a lot of people here who dress up but don't work there (for instance me).
One of the awesome things about this group is that if you don't have anyone to go dressed up with, you can meet people here and make friends with people who also go dressed up.  :D
Keep an eye on the Pub Night thread, there's a sticky for it.  It's a great opportunity to meet people before faire, since we've got quite some time before faire starts again.

Post away and enjoy yourself. You'll meet a lot of really nice people.

Join the Fest Friends, hit the opening day breakfast before gate opening.

And when at MNRF, hit the mead booth, close to the Fest Friends area. Very easy to meet your forum friends that way.

The world needs more Fairies.

Most on this site do not work @ any fest, only attend.

Heck I think there are more customers than participants here. This sounds like the perfect place for you is this forum.
When you die can you donate your body to pseudo-science?

I know what you mean. I think it wouldn't even be hard to have a job there. It would alway's be fun to go to work. (I better keep my mouth shut. I may get in trouble.)

welcome Maryfairy!
you're name makes me smile! There are a lot of wonderful people here who are always willing with a warm hug when it's cold, a bit of food when you're hungry and a bit of a drink when you glass needs filling.
