Hey Julianne, earlier in this thread you stated you were 99.9% sure it wouldn't snow, well I'm in Arizona and it's snowing where I am right now. Looking pretty heavy about it too.

OK

The weather and temps you two are experiencing are just to show you the difference when you get here and everything is nice and sunny.

Of course, it's supposed to be cold and windy for Prez Day weekend but AZ weather is like anywhere else, just wait a moment and it will change.

If it wasn't cold President's day weekend, all of our Minnesota friends would go into shock due to the severe climate shift  ;D

I'm reckoning that with the rather cool and wet weather coming up, the 'danes, more than likely, will not venture to the faire.  Based on past experience it probably will be a sparsely populated weekend.

The rain scares most Phoenicians....they scurry home, get under blankets and eat soup.

The Faire Playtrons however....we don our cloaks, boots, and gloves (which rarely get to make appearances) and forge ahead.

Uh yeah.. it's raining here again today and it 40 degrees? It is still winter right? Or did I skip over a couple of months and its spring? *perhaps it is time to cut back on the drinking?*

I R Confused...  ::)  :D

Wheee we leave for AZ tomorrow afternoon!! I can't wait!!  :-*

*nods in agreement*  I love the rain.  One of my favorite days at faire was THAT day in the 2007 season when lightning hit the parking lot.  *grin*  We sat in the rain and watched Tartanic pound away through the storm loud enough to beat the thunder and then sat in the Royal Pavillion and played Charades with Prince James.  It was FUN.

Gloves!  That's what I need!  And waterproof camera equiptment bags . . . I think I need to start a list *laughing*

Well.  I am new to these forums... but I have to say...  we (me, wife and 7 year old boy) were there at cannon on opening day... and we were there till close.

It was the best weather imaginable... and the most perfect day we have had in a long time.  So much wonderful entertainment and incredible food.  And the crowds seemed significantly lower than I had remembered from previous years (admittedly, it has been quite a few years).

Pretty sure we are going back next weekend.  :)

Thanks to everyone for the help and advice.

Thant's what we are here for. Stop by the breakfast Sat morning, just look for the mob and the RF banner in the VIP parking lot.
