Questions about the campsite and other things... 

Do we have electricity available at our location (I mean, where the tents are, not in the showers)?  Can you say, "crockpot"!
Shade?  Do we have lots of tree coverage like last years site or is it more barren like the WIRF site?  (we won't need the canopy if it's like last year)

The boys have yet to give me a firm answer if they are coming along but I will most definitely be there Friday night!
I love the idea of the potluck breakfast and dinners.  That way everyone can bring a little and still enjoy a lot.

For the use of any or all, I will bring:

1 shade canopy, if needed  (2, if I don't have very many boys with me)
1 cast iron skillet (Last year we cooked a sausage/egg/hashbrown dish right in the fire.  Good stuff.)
Food for sharing

  OK Should we start a list of what we will bring for the Potlucks so we do not double up to much. I will get Hash Browns for the breakfast and brats for the Dinner

Man it's time to get busy.  Garb needs to be found.  Tent poles replaced.   I need a new air mattress...oh and a tarp for under the tent too.  Still need to send Goody $ for campsite!  Hey Goody, are they pretty booked up there, I'd hate to loose a spot.

I want to contribute to the potlucks, but am quite an inexperienced camper and don't know what to bring that will keep well and be tasty.  Suggestions would be much appreciated!

OK am going to the campground now since it is Twig gathering day.

MG-I believe we would benefit from at least 1 canopy.

Will find out about plug ins.

I have the entire area on reserve so we will not "lose" spots. The space is there and we will make ourselves fit!

If it's alright, I changed my mind and planned to have a nacho bar (like last yr) at the campground for Saturday dinner. Any objections???

Will there be anything planned during the day??  We should get there around 10am on Saturday, but will not be camping.  It'll just be me and my youngest.

Well Jenn has daycare kids til 530 pm I believe, I was hoping we would get out of town earlier. Someone save us a good spot lol (we have a big tent due to family so we need big space.

that reminds me i have to find the blower upper for the air mattress. hmmmmmm...

Does anyone know if they sell pewter cups out there or is someone willing to let me borrow one. Lord William wont drink out of anything but....

Oh BTW for you coffee drinkiers I have a plug in for my car that takes regular plugs so if you bring a coffee maker you can brew coffee. I dont know what wattage it can handle so no microwaves and such

ok neighbor guy and I pulled out the loki last night. he says he doesnt like sweet but had 20ish shots, (wait that zero shouldnt be there cuz thats not moderation). i enjoyed the lemon, like limoncello.

not sure how good ur car is but when I take the renwagon (moms minivan) i use the converter for curling iron. when i asked if it could handle toast my mom said it would prolly blow a fuse.
