Never missed an episode of Ghost Hunters since its beginning.
I have experienced a couple of different kinds of hauntings.
The GH are very informative about anything you would want to know. PJB got me and my sister a copy of their latest book when he met them and had it signed. I haven't read it yet, but my sister's telling me all about it.
PJB lives only about 15 minutes from their hq. Yes, I'm dragging him there when I go.
I catch orbs all the time. Just because you catch an orb, doesn't necessarily prove anything. As said, it's usually dust or a bug. There are, however, certain orbs that can't be debunked. You just have to know what to llok for. I'll see what sites I can dig up that can clarify that.

They told me no one was there. In front of them, so maybe you're seeing something they didn't pick up. They also told me our eyes maybe matrixing, which is the body's/eyes natural ability to find familiar shapes in distorted images.

No problem. I just hope they go on more investigations. I may even join them. Once the weather breaks, we'll probably do more.

We hope to see more people from Michigan join the DPIT site, and come forward with more stories and we'd be able to discuss more about the areas hauntings, but it seems pretty slow at this time. But, even people fro out of state are welcome to join on and share their stories and have fun.

AN eerie image of a figure at a Scottish castle has got ghost experts spooked.
The scary shot was unearthed during the biggest ever investigation into photographic evidence of ghosts.

The picture, taken in May last year, shows a spectral figure in fifteenth century dress peering out of a barred window at Tantallon Castle in Fife.

No mannequins or costumed guides are used at the castle and photo experts have confirmed that no digital trickery was used.

Even ghost sceptic Professor Richard Wiseman admitted to being puzzled.

"It is certainly very curious," he said.

' We ran it by three photographic experts and they said it hadn't been Photoshopped at all '
"The figure appears to be in period costume, but we know 100 per cent that Tantallon Castle is not the sort of place that has dummies or costumed guides; they just don't go in for that sort of thing.

"I suppose it could be a visitor looking a little bit strange. Perhaps someone will come forward. Another possibility is an odd reflection of sunlight, but it does look very like a person. The explanation is not obvious."

Tantallon Castle, a ruined fortress dating back to the 14th century, stands on a remote rocky headland near North Berwick on the East coast of Scotland. It was badly damaged in an attack by Oliver Cromwell's forces in 1651.

Christopher Aitchison, who took the photo, said: "I was not aware of anyone, or anything, being present in my picture."

Psychologist Prof Wiseman, from the University of Hertfordshire, who has made many studies of the supernatural, launched the investigation a month ago.

Members of the public were asked to submit ghostly images for experts to analyse, the best of which were posted on the website www.scienceofhauntings.com.

More than 250 pictures were received from all over the world and more than a quarter of a million people voted for what they considered to be the most convincing photos.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting stuff, I foudn a few very easily debunked though myself. But, a few not so easy. So my skepticism grows.

Our 1925 house has at least one ghost.  Have not seen it (them), but when we were first moving in, I was there cleaning and waiting for the guy to come turn on the gas.  None of our stuff was there yet, but I distinctly heard something fall and crash.  Looked all over - nothing.  I said nothing to Lawrence, and a few days later, he announced that he thought we had a ghost, having heard the same thing when he was there another day.  He swears he's heard pacing and footsteps since we've moved in.

We're going to do some research and see if we can find out about the original owners and those who came after.

My father is co-founder of a paranormal group down here in TX.  I run the website, and occasionally go with them on investigations... I have to say, nothing has ever happened to me while there, though there have been evps that have sounded directed at me while we were at the theatre I worked at.  That was a bit unnerving...  www.stockyardsparanormal.com  Most of the pictures on the website are orbs, and I think are nothing, but I get told what to put up, so have no choice about it heh.  But I think it's pretty interesting.  I reallyreally want something to happen on an investigation I'm on...

Check out our site Casche, we have some good EVPs and pics, and you can view them without joining, But it would be nice if you did since you are a fellow investigator. Even submit your own findings we love to share locally and nationally, heck even globally. Also listen to our radio interview, I'm not in it too often, but my brother and friend are and they explain what our team is all about and our philosophy and what not. And what we've found and what not.

Poldugarian Warrior

I checked your site, those EVP's are some great captures. Some are so clear. I'm surprised at the clarity. Most of the time thier very muffled or coincide with other noises in the room or outside.

Casche

Thanks  :D  I'll have to tell my dad that, he's pretty proud of some of the evps we've caught.

I checked out your site as well.  I really like some of the information in the forums, I'll have to pass it along to my da and the rest of the team.  ;D

There's a group in Minnesota that is trying to get a paranormal TV show off the ground. The producer is a MNRF participant http://www.deadreckoningtv.com/

Poldugarian Warrior

Thanks casche. I'll have to tell the crew that. I'm Dave Machcinski on that site. I log in there as Warrior13 if that's any info. you wanted. And I too am an investigator, but highly skeptical. Thanks for sharing groomporter. I will definitely check that show out, and possibly join that site.

Here's a pic I took at Devil's Den at Gettysburg. It could be a bug, dust, or droplet of water. But, it's just too darn round, and solid. Most captured orbs are round and see-through a characteristic of snow, or water (raindrops) or a thin bug on a camera lens. Also this is a analog photograph, meanign it's been taken with film not digital, could be developing or negative blemish. But, we took several pics that night there was no rain, a thunderstorm was rumbling, but no rain felt. All other pics show no sorts of orbs like this. If anything it may not be a spirit, but EMF given off by the land there since quartz and many other non-metal and metallic elements reside in those rocks and through science have been shown to have EMF conductive properties, and there could be Ley lines there and runnign underground water which may explain all the sightings. But, who knows? That's why we keep investigating.
