Oh! I just remembered, I won't be there! This year Feast of the Hunters' Moon competes with the last weekend of fest, so I'll be on the way to Indiana on Festival Friday with the portable gaming hall to do 18th century.

I am hoping to get that day off but I think LD has school all day that day...... Have to check on that one.

I shall be in Foaming all day.  We never have enough people to man the booths so I usually end up in there the whole time.  The JCs usually have maybe half the booths open.  Mead booth is usually closed due to lack of people to work it which makes me a sad bunny.

I'll most likely be there, as for the little ones, well time will tell.

oooo me me me! I will be there! Depending on scheduling...it will probably be about noon when I can get there! (i'll take my garb to school that day! :-)

I think Brandi and I are going to have to try and see if we can do Friday this year. I've always wanted to but was never able to swing it. But maybe it'll work out this year?

Hopefully the Mead booth will be open this year

I'm not sure that will happen, even though I'd like to see it open too.  If I remember, they weren't serving alcohol because of all the minors.

I'll be there this year as well.  I never noticed that they weren't serving alcohol last year.  I guess I bring enough of my own and have plenty of friends that do too!

HUZZAH to friends with booze!!!!

If anything, since I don't have to work my booth that day  ;D I'm going mainly for moral support for those that are stuck at theirs... ;D

I thought we had someone to go with me but they can't take the Friday off. It's an event that is even older than MNRF and can be as busy as the busiest weekends at MNRF so we need at least one more person to go with me http://www.tcha.mus.in.us/feast.htm

We leave very, very early Friday morning and come back early Monday morning. We camp on site behind our "gaming hall" tent. We pay for all your food, and we can provide a sleeping bag, a modern cot, propane heaters if it's cold, and may have some loaner clothes if you don't
have something that can pass as roughly 18th century.

You can get an idea of what we look like when on the road at http://historicgames.com/jury.html

I start a new job tomorrow so...doubt I'll have a full day of PTO to burn for it sadly.
