OK so I was getting used to having Seamus' mint juleps every Saturday morning.  :D

Oh yeah!

Methinks Steve and I have to make it back to BARF soon!  Musical Men and Mint Juleps.  Oh, what we're missing.

OMG, I just had a thought (SHUT UP, it happens on occasion LOL).... Seamus's mint juleps served at Queen's Tea! OK, maybe the masses aren't quite ready for such a magical potion, but it's sure fun to imagine! That would make Musical Men even more interesting!  ;D

Dang, I miss BARF!

The fresh mint is what made the juleps so great! That and the company it was shared in. It was like Kentucky Derby Saturday with different hats!

And yes, Jack, you and Athena need to come on the same weekend. We can get Laird and the MCracks at the same time!  :D

mmm, mint juleps!

I was fortunate enough to savor them - after hours of course :) - because Esc and Leinad made sure a bottle was stashed for me.  YEA!!!

I wanna come, too!  Let me know when next year, and hopefully, the Queen will play Musical Men at the tea that weekend.

Jack, we used to live in the British Virgin Islands, and if I never go to St. Thomas again, that will be fine with me.  I went enough for 3 lifetimes, especially to buy baby formula, real milk, diapers, and medicine that wasn't pass the sell-by date by up to 2 years (what a novel idea!), and weaved through enough tourists to never want to see one again on a beach!

It was a 3 hour boat ride each way with an infant/ toddler, and I had to go every few weeks.  Then got back to Peter Island with its view of Dead Man's Chest, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Now BARF next year, that might be a possibility.  Though it would have to be a toss-up between Cinqo dETTE Mayo and BARF.  Yikes!

Lady Renee,

If you make it to BARF next year, we will play a game just for you!

Thank you, Your Majesty.  I'm going to try to get there, even if we have to walk! ;D

I had a fantastic time this year and am already making plans for next year.  It's already got me looking forward to this trip next March.

In the meantime, TNRF in 2 weeks!

Sorry I'm so late in posting this, but thanks for calling me up for the R/F photos at the end. The recognition really made my day.

Kathryn - what would a group photo be without you?  giggle...... you are after all a part of this great group!!!  And I think the funny face pic just rocks....giggle..!!!

This year was for sure a time to remember, sigh, did not get to hang out with everyone, but faire lives on in the many pictures that were captured by the majic boxes.

I find it very interesting living faire with how each and everyone sees it through the lens.  All the pics contain a bit of the person who got the shot..... as they saw it..... smile...... memories..... giggle....

So it's done, then....a new BARF tradition!!!

Mint Juleps in the parking lot!  And even more people to invade on St. Molden's Day....

With luck, they may have to look for a bigger site.... ;)

HUZZAH TO THE MINT JULEP TRADITION!

Now we have to find some real Kentucky hors d'oeuvres to go with it.  :D

Glad to see everyone is looking forward to next season! Should be a fun one. I'm not personally a fan of Mint Juleps, but perhaps it's because I've never had a good one.

If you would like to begin a new topic to begin planning for next years St Pat's gathering please do so. Matter of fact I'll begin one for you . I'd like to bring this topic back to it's original intent of this seasons Tea with our Queen.
