I was at burger King last Night.  They are going to have Star Trek glasses when the movie comes out.

Whoa... :o

A space spork!

How much space pork could Spock's spork spork if Spock sporked space pork?

I want one, no idea why, just want one.

For the record, Spock is a vegatarian, he would never spork pork...he might spork a space beet, but never pork.  I even believe Nemoy is Jewish, so no pork there either, but spork does not rhyme with Matzah.  Am I rambling?  Seriously, I don't think so but...

*ahem*

I have learned that there may be a bar at the theater our little Minnesotan's are planning to go to..... Sooooooo with that being the case I may just have to accompany my geek er I mean my fabulous fiance' to the movie.. A bar in a movie theater, what a fantastic idea!! Wish I would have thought of that!!

I reserve the right to openly make fun of anyone, especially those in costumes, and most especially those wearing Spock ears...

That spork is awesome.  I may have to buy a couple of those.  Sadly, it will likely be useless as a collectors item after I do that because I would totally use it on camping trips.

Costumes?  Oh crap, this movie is just over a week away, and I don't have anything to wear!  eek!  I might have to look at how hard it would be to turn the very oversized commander shirt I have into a dress.  It's probably about the right length...gosh those dresses are short!  Guess I'd have to be a command track officer if I did that, even though I wanted to be an engineer.  Oh well.

Let me join you in rambling. ;)
Why do I have an oversized Trek shirt, you ask?  Because the store was having a pre-halloween sale, to clean out all the old costumes and had a bag w/an old-school AND an NG shirt stuffed in it that they were practically giving away.  Little middleschool(?  maybe I had just started highschool) geek that I was couldn't pass it up. :)  I wore the (equally too large) NG shirt for halloween that year and had everyone think I was captain Janeway, even though I was CLEARLY wearing commander's pips, not captain's.    :-\

yes, I am that much of a geek...  ;D

Whoa, Muffin in a theatre showing 100% pure geek heroin?  Ain't love grand!  Oh, just think of them as "elven ears" and everything will be just fine.

Damn, broke my glass's, were's the tape...

They previewed a scene during lost tonight. It was right after the Lost logo appears at the first break.

jinx

How Jinx convinced her anti-Star Trek best friend to go see Star Trek with her:

1- IMDB the movie.

2- Pick out the handsomest men on cast.

3- Say "I'll give you three reasons you can't refuse."

4- Proceed thusly: "Kirk.  Spock.  Nero."

5- Epic win.
Lust.
Pirate.
Wench.
Mischievous Little Imp.
Dinosaur.

My wife saw it at Saturdays sneak preview, (from my reserved seats! I had to work :( )  and she thought it was really great, wants to see it again. Shelley takes her Trek pretty seriously, so thats a good endorsment. She's not telling me about it too much, and I still have some resevations, but I'll wait till I see it to comment.

Put enough romulan ale in her and she'll spill it all.  :)

Enough of my Romulan ale and she'd spill other stuff too!  :P
