Yep, it was chilly!  Had a blast though.  Who would have thought taping down garbage cans and taking surveys would be fun?   ;D

Oh, got to meet new people too...As I said, I suck at remembering names but I did meet "Cheap Chick" and Anne?

A good day.

The sun made an appearance later on in the afternoon, but it never really warmed up.  Liz said that only twelve surveys were completed last year and I'm pretty sure we convinced more than twelve people to take the survey.

We had a great time and look forward to next year.

I have a few photos from today posted on facebook and myspace (my daughter took a LOT of pictures of cows, those are all on myspace).

I know I had at least 6 surveys in the first half hour, and when Cheap Chick showed up things really got moving!  Had lots of fun yakking with the fine Scottish Fair folk.

The unplanned fly-over and eventual landing of the Blackhawk helicopter during the National Anthems was an added bonus for an aviation nut like me.  (Apparently there was an armed services picnic next door to the Fair).

I wanted to try the Haggis for the 1st time...but I didn't have the guts.   ;D

I know...There were several times I swear you guys saw me but I ducked behind a port-o-pot just in time!   ;D

Got there about 8:30...left about 1:30 to go make an offer on a house.  For a place that size I am very surprised we did not run into you!   :(

You and Synn were there Toar???
I did not like the wind and the cold. I broke down and put a jacket on. I got Jenn a nice Mother's Day present with a Celtic Embroidered bag that she really liked. We got the kids Tin whistles so we are ready to drop them off at Bacardi's, DB's or Toar's for a day.  ;D
I got a book on how to play the Bodrahn (sp). I am getting one as soo as it comes in (fathers day??).
It was nice to see peoples...
Knight, FOP, Pirate, Woodsman...I am a man of many faces.

I had a blast even if I only stayed a short while. I must have missed Syn & Toar :(.

That being said I did get to meet a few new faces, now maybe I won't be nearly as shy at fest.(After 3 years I still clam up around you guys at times*embarassed*)

Can't wait till next time I see ya.

Synn: I thought with how much Toar likes to play his Ocarina he would have a blast with the kids and their tin whistles...it would be like an ear piercing ren band  ;D
