A few leftovers from Sunday, May 17th posted.  Sorry I didn't get them up sooner.  Life has been busy.

Samedi took them mostly of the final weekend after the parade.  Here's a few of the better ones:

I took a little over 4,400 shots over the three day weekend.  Based on how many it appears I will end up with, I estimate that it will take about 26 hours of editing to get them ready to post.  With a full time job, a little sleep now and then, and only being able to spend so many hours at a stretch on the computer at a time, I hope to get them done by Sunday at the latest.

Paul, take your time.  Even though we all wriggle with anticipation, your photos are always worth it!  For those of us who can't carry cameras around (cast, etc) you and the others who tote the heavy lenses are our memories of faire!!

THANK YOU!!

Just a note to one of the comments on your board - Leonard - aka Leonardo da Vinci aka the Fairy Godfather - is the guy in the pink tutu.  He only brings the FGF out once a year or so...

He really was fun.  We enjoyed him alot.  And he has much more balls than I do for sure.

The first set of pics are mine.  The images starting with the 3 car fire shots in a row are from Anita Goodman.  We ran across that on the drive up.

I took a little over 4,400 shots over the three day weekend.......

4400, huh?

In my film load out days, I would buy for a calculation of 1 shot a minute, based on one TRF event of the past. So for a 12 hour day, that's 720 shots.

Even if we say that Scarborough is 12 hour event daily (for me, at best 11 hours), that's still exceeding a rate a shot every 30 seconds.

Reaper, do you have a myspace account so I can credit you?

Thank you, DonaCatalina. And talking from my standpoint, I'm constantly awed and even a little bit envious to those who can become involved to the extent they do. I've increased how much I join in over the years, from being an outside observer to now being in garb and yelling about "A punchline".....but alas, haven't been able to join in with the dancing yet. It's that camera and the lens, doncha know?
