aye.. those that made their way to our pub that day were stranded unless you brought a boat.. *mental note* bring boat with this year.. added to fest list... (and Capt. that means it's added to the list of things I'm not supposed to lose)***

the uh puddle or lake (since we are in MN, it would be counted as a lake) was at least knee deep...

But then again being stranded wasn't so bad... We have beer... 

If I recall they actually did close fest early that day... Boooooooooo!!!!

I remember this day well...  I passed out on the couch in the shop upstairs and woke up around midnight with water pouring through a hole in the ceiling onto me.  My sleeping bag was soaked, my pillows were soaked.... oh...  and I WAS SOAKED!!!

Ok went to Walmart Saturday morning after work. Picked up fuel, a new gas light, fixed another one I had. There will be loght folks. Picked up a grill. I have my car packed 3/4 done. Now just have to go to Costco and get pancake mix.

Totally NOT ready.  VV leaves on Wednesday so I'm am preoccupied ( ) with him and not Twig.  Can I pull it all together in just a couple of days?    Guess we'll find out.

What time are people leaving?  Is there going to be a convoy heading up or just make your way and meet at the end?

Goody, I'll pay for my campsite when we get there.  I'm sorry I didn't send a check before now.  With VV home I'm just so distracted!

Oh, also, Friday June 6th was our 16th anniversary!  Huzzah!  We had dinner on the MN Zephyr.  What fun!

I had my weekends mixed up, and can't make it  I was hoping to get a faire fix, but instead of an enjoyable weekend, I'm stuck listening to conference papers on women's history. Hopefully some of them should be interesting--the ones on medieval Japan should be good, and a couple of medieval women--but most of them are modern history, yuck.
