Attempting to, when I wasn't forgetting random steps and mixing up left and right.    What can I say, it was a long, hot weekend and I'm rusty.  Glad you had fun - come introduce yourself next time so I can put a face with a screenname! I promise I'll try to get the steps right next time.

We stayed as long as the rain would allow and had a grand time seeing old friends and meeting some new ones as well.

Yes - that was us. I was in a green gown and he was in a black kilt/green shirt - and we were hanging out with a couple of Pirates!

I was there with my family on Opening Day, Saturday, only.  Left 1/2 way through the Finale because of my littles ones getting too wet.

I'm so happy it's Faire Season yet again!  This marks my 22nd year walking through the gates of the Shire of Mount Hope!  HUZZAH!

We'll be coming again (sans kids) on Sunday...I can't wait to do our annual renewal of our vows!

we were there opening weekend. left on sunday after Scythian's first round..

on sat. we saw them twice. we love them and really enjoyed their shows.

the magician before them at noon was good on sat. also. as was looney lucy.

wanted to see more on sunday, but it was pouring rain at noonish and then too darn hot..plus..the storms closed up the faire anyway..what time was that? LF

the store is Dress Your Dreams, a big building with a concrete floor...but no one offered me beer so I dont think it was me!!  (pout) of course, it might have been offered to one of my shop help, and I missed out!!!!

The storm on Sun closed us about 5, I think....they were alerted that there was a 2nd cell headed in our direction, so we're thinking they were directed to evacuate, not just suspend the shows.

I was there opening day with the family. I will be there for the next two weekends with family and friends. You have to love a season pass.

i never make my trip to the shire until closing weekend, kind of a tradition. we hit kansas city for their closing weekend and then mount hope for their closing weekend.

glad to see last years queen is back, she is a treat. a total delight. anyone gonna post pictures from opening weekend??

god bless any of you that can deal with the august heat at faire, i would DIE!!
