I just wanted to say it was wonderful to meet some of you today at the faire.  I guess it really does pay to have the R/F pin hanging around your neck .  To those that were working away at the beer both, a hearty hello and thank you!  To those I ran into along the way, wonderful to finally chat with you all.  Take care!

Whoa.... there was KCRFer our at MNRF the same weekend as me and I totally missed them?  DRATS!  Although I can't go to KCRF this year (community theater production and all) I still would like to make more contact with KCRFers who are on here.... because honestly they are HARD to find.

My first fest (and home fest) will always be MNRF, but as I live in Omaha now I need to branch out.  Planning to head down to KC the first weekend in October.  Will you be there?  Perhaps we should get a meeting time solidified on the boards for people?

We were at KCRF this past weekend and met at a grove just outside the joust area - a great place to meet.  It was actually suggested by someone who is from there.

we consider Minnesota our home faire (we used to live there and now Iowa), but we will return to KC - beautiful place!
