Anyone else sick?.... I've got a serious case of the fest crud..  :-[ bleh.............. missed work both Tuesday and Wednesday.. Could barely drag myself out of bed..

Started coming on late in the weekend, and by Sunday night it was full blown.. Coughing, wheezing, stuffy runny nose.. I've become a mouth breather.. I hate those people...

Everything hurts... (stop typing so loud)

Thank heavens I have this weekend off!! Was looking forward to being out there to play, but if I still feel like I do today, the weekend might just... suck...  :'(

I don't.  Well, slight allergy-like sniffle.

I take 2 WalTec (Walgreens' Zyrtec) Friday afternoon and every morning of Fest.

No troubles!  I used to get the crud.  No more.

Horrors!

A lack of wenchy goodness!.

Seriously dollface, sleep is your friend, along with lots of liquid, aspirin and tylenol. Most people get over it in 72 hours if they stay off their feet and rest up.

DAMHIK,

At the faire or in the wood shop, that's where I am!

yep.. I've pretty much been sleeping for the last two days straight.. not out of bed for more than an hour and that was only to go and lay on the couch, change of scenery ya know... Been taking Tylenol (PM), Dayquil and Nyquil (not all at the same time of course).. I'm starting to feel better, but still feel like I have been run over by a bus..

Oh Muffin!  I hope you are feeling better soon.  I know getting the crud is no fun at all.  Rest up, have Bacardi wait on you hand and foot.  I hope to see you this Saturday back in the pink!
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

I have confirmed that I do not have H1N1! Yay Me!! the test for that sucks by the way.. A Q-tip should never be put that far up anyone's nose.. I think she poked my brain!  :o The doc was not sure what I have, just kept saying a viral infection, but they were concerned that it would turn into pneumonia, booooooooooo!!! Still running a fever, therefore contagious, so I was sent home.. Gave me a prescription for an inhaler to help with the coughing and wheezing.. Overall I don't feel too awful and am hoping that by Saturday I will be doing even better!

So if any of you get the piggy flu, you can't blame me..  ;)

They told me to drink lots of fluids.. I think I'll start with some Loki.. Here's to everyone's health!

~Cheers

Hope you feel better soon Muffin!..

Loki is a fine fluid for sure, just make sure you mix in a little water between shots!..

Hope to see you this weekend!..

No honey, it is not Fest Crud it is Camping Crud!  ;)  Seriously am glad to hear you do not have H1N1, was concerned about that one.  Tony has been fighting something but it hasn't taken hold yet so hopefully he has convinced it to go away.  Yer doing the best things ya can for it.  Sleep is the BEST medicine (oh and a personal servant doesn't hurt  :P) and a little Loki can only help IMO...what that wouldn't kill, I don't know.

Loves ya - hope you are on the upside now!  :-*

Glad to hear you don't have H1N1. Take it easy so you don't get pneumonia!!!
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

I was talking with a mom at Matt's football practice last night.  She had a co-worker with the very same symptoms as you only she got the while on a cruise and had to spend the cruise confined to a small room.  When she got back she also tested negative for H1N1 too. The doc told her the same thing about phenomia(can't spell it) too.  I think it's time t stock up on air born and such stuff.  I think just to be safe my family is getting chicken soup for supper.

Taffy Saltwater

Stuff to stock up on BEFORE you get sick; Tylenol or other otc pain/fever reliever, day/nighttime cold formulas, digital thermometer, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, water, clear foods - jello, soup, etc, tissues.  If also hit w/"stomach" symptoms, aloe TP & the BRAT (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) diet; several packages of dry Gatorade mix.

I love grilled cheese sammiches & tomato soup w/parmesan when I'm a big sicko, so the comfort food of your choice would be good, too.
Sveethot!

Phelyp, Lord Maydestone

Michael was sick the day after we got back - with all of the symptoms mentioned here.  He's over it now but it really hit him hard.  And he's a nurse - you know what kind of patients those make!
It's always time for Chardonnay!

Poor Muffin. Hope you feel better soon!
