Ach!!!  I'm looking at the weather for the weekend...   Things are not looking good.  Right now it's 40% rain on Friday/Saturday. 

Ugh.  Am I terrible if I don't dress up?!?  I don't have a proper "garb" rain coat.

Quick update...

With the imminent forecast of rain, my boys have opted out of the whole weekend adventure.   They are not big into the camping thing and the idea of wet camping just put them right off.

So, that means I will be there solo!  Big fun for me.  I don't mind a bit of rain.  Heck, I don't even mind a lot of rain.

I'm not planning to attend the Saturday night after party and will be hanging out in my tent area if anyone else is planning same, I'll be thankful for the company.

Turns out we left the tent at my mom's, and my step-dad and brothers took it out camping with the busted poles.  I picked it up to find the poles all nicely taped up.  Good thing too, went to buy new poles anyways and discovered it would have been cheaper to just buy a whole new tent rather than replace the poles!  So I think I'm going to pick up some duck tape to bring with just in case.

Now I really need to go to bed so I can wake up and clean all the garb we're bringing!

LD & I are bringing Pie Irons. We are bringing some apple & cherry pie filling and a loaf of bread. You can make pizzas, grilled cheese, ham & cheese or what ever with these.

I only have two (one cast iron one aluminum), basically you put the stuff in them between buttered bread and stick them into the coals of the fire to cook whatever it is you have.

If anyone wants to try them bring some stuff up. We will probably have some extra but you might wnat to bring some bread and fillings if you want to try them....

Those Rule!! Ive got a set of those as well! My fave is making breakfast sammies with them. Just make sure you have a cold beverage handy for "CONTENTs MAY BE HOT!"

Ok. for my first post in eons, I'll just say that I'm am super pumped that I will be able to make it to TWIG, thanks to Leyla and Ginger's help (and the suckers I got to cover my shifts at the restaurant!) Thanks girls and I'll see y'all there.

I called Goody this evening... admist her madness and cleaning frenzy... and she will be at the fest grounds helping setup... I'm planning to leave my parents after I get up shower.  My plan is to head to the grounds and assist Goody with her duties and then to head to the campground to setup my tent.  I'll probably be out to the campgounrd around noon... maybe a little after.
