Ach!!!  I'm looking at the weather for the weekend...   Things are not looking good.  Right now it's 40% rain on Friday/Saturday. 

Ugh.  Am I terrible if I don't dress up?!?  I don't have a proper "garb" rain coat.

had a bit of a soggy wkend after fest at Siouxland. it can be fun to just be soppin wet. shouldnt be too much mud since theres grass.

LD & I are bringing Pie Irons. We are bringing some apple & cherry pie filling and a loaf of bread. You can make pizzas, grilled cheese, ham & cheese or what ever with these.

I only have two (one cast iron one aluminum), basically you put the stuff in them between buttered bread and stick them into the coals of the fire to cook whatever it is you have.

If anyone wants to try them bring some stuff up. We will probably have some extra but you might wnat to bring some bread and fillings if you want to try them....

my fav is breakfast. i scramble eggs and cook bacon aheada time. then put inbetween bread with a slicea cheese. just like a taster scramble. perhaps even better!

My wife and I should be up there sometime Saturday and hopefully Sunday.  Lookinfg foreward to some good mead.  I see 3 Celts & Company won't be there this year.  Pity, always did like that booth.

Me, no.
But most of the stuff we are bringing, we usually bring to the lake, so it is basically already packed, just have to throw it into the car.  Not a big deal.
However, I probably won't be able to sleep tonight because:
a) I don't have to work tomorrow or Monday and
b) it fest time!!!!!!!!

Don't forget your bug spray!

I've been packed since yesterday...sorta.  Bug spray...hmm...that's what I forgot. DANG!!!

Oh well, I have sunscreen...that I apparently will not be needing. Umm...umm...I think I have everything. Hopefully!

My bag is packed.  I have more garb than clothes!

My food stuff is in piles.

My camping stuff is in piles.  (thanks for the reminder about bug spray!)

The tent and canopy are in the garage.  I'll pack the van in the morning then take off to Alexandria to drop off boys.  Should be to the campgrounds by 6:00pm.

Am bringing some stuff to snack/share for Friday night.  Hummus, Tsaziki sauce, pita chips and bread.  Yummy carb overload!

Just started seriously packing and cleaning and making lists about 9 here.  Man where dose the time go?  Tarac when are you stopping by and what all did Sleepy say he wanted you to take?  I have been bleaching and scrubbing coolers and wondering why we need so many.  I sure hope the weekend turns out like today.  Great day.
