No one would know,... at a RenFaire,...yeah  ::) riight.

Just this weekend at Carolina during the Barely Balanced show.  Medium had just been helped up on stage (nice lady had to shove his rear while he steadied himself on a guy's shoulders).  The guy that Medium was steading himself on was also holding Medium's mug of water.  The audience cheered when Medium got up onto the stage and the guy holding the mug raised both arms in celebration, dosing Medium with water.  YouTube video whenever I get around to it.

I really dont remember the name of the faire (they kept changing it each year)  But I remember sitting down at the front gate greeting people when all of a sudden one man dressed up (cause I knew all the people there) was running and screaming "the scots are comming! The scots are comming! Hide the sheep!!!  All of a sudden everyone was running like it was actually a bad thing.. The sad part it was all the payins the were running and non of the rennies..  I stayed put, the scott that everyone was running from came in and sat by me asking were did all the people go.. I really wish I comment back instead of a shrug.

Another was actually annoying was at opening show, the king and queen and their two daughters were doing the show when a man from another faire called out that he must speak with the princess, they tried to go along but he said not them and pointed at me..  I was trying to be summon back to court in a faire I havn't been to in years.

Ya wanna see something else on YouTube...?  ;)

'Course, that's a mental image I'll never lose...the donkey charging down the lane, panic and devastation in his wake,  people jumping and running out of the way of the metal chair/weapon,  the crazed look in the animal's eyes....

I mean, you've seen Blue in action..... ;)

I just found this... you sir, totally sucketh.

Closing weekend of Scarby last season a young boy around 15 or so was wearing his kilt wrong.  totaly wrong he not only had the left over the right but had the pleading in front.  When I told him that his kilt was on backwards he said it was OK because no one would know which way was which and then walked off.

I had one of these a couple years ago at TRF Highland Weekend, There was a 20-ish guy wandering the lanes in a black t-shirt, combat boots, with a Stillwater Nightstalker tartan kilt on backwards, pleats in front.
  I guess something about faire makes me want to be nice, so instead of just laughing at him and taking a picture to post on the kilt forum, I figured I'd 'help a brother out'.  I wandered over and quietly said;

"Hey man, I need to tell you you have your kilt on backwards"

"No I don't"

"Yeah, the pleats go in back"

"Since when?"
     see, now I wish I'd just took his picture!

"Well, since ever, look at me and everyone else around here" waving my hand around.

"I'll have to think about that"
    and he stalks off... ???
