One of the funniest off beat movies I have see is "Amazon Women on the Moon".  It is a series of shorts that parody late night television on an independent station.  I almost feel out of my chair during the opening with Arsenio Hall.

great move, also "Kentucky Fried Movie" is in the same vein.

"Cannibal the Musical"- from the makers of South Park

"Cannibal women of the Avacado Jungle"- cheesy B movie

I swear there is no theme to the movies I watch

"May"- horror movie, the entire time I was watching I was asking myself 'why am I watching this'

kinda main stream "Shaolin Soccer"- cheesy but it makes me happy

"Legend of 1900"- its not really that weird perse but no one has heard of it and it is amazing, it stars Tim Roth

"Flakes"- indie type flick with Zoey Deschanel set in a cereal store/diner
What does the color blue taste like?

Not a movie in itself, but Mystery Science Theater 3000 ranks right up there...

My intentions are to commandeer a venue, sail to Tortuga, then pick, strum and otherwise play me weasily black guts out.

The strangest movie I have ever seen in my entire life was "Liquid Sky"  back in the eighties (at the Uptown theatre).  To this day I do not know if I love it or hate it.  It makes Rocky Horror look like a Daffy Duck cartoon... :o

OK, apparently I'm very susceptible to suggestion because I bought this movie-available on VHS only.   ::)  Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned " Naked Lunch " yet... :o   ;D

Bubba Ho-Tep ;)

Heard a rumor there might be something tongue in cheek that may be in the works with Bruce Campbell

Finally picked up Repo and watched it.  Weird but couldn't hold me.  Too polished I guess.  I'm a Rocky fan from years back.
I hope my life is an epic tale that ends well and everyone likes to read. --Grovdin Dokk

The sequel will be a prequel "BUBBA-NOSFERATU" with Ron Perlman as Elvis

Are "IDENTITY" and "MEMENTO" and "RAVENOUS" too mainstream to be considered properly weird?!?

"Naked Lunch".  Saw that when I was fairly young.  Almost broke me...still one of the strangest movies that I can think of after all these years.

I absolutely love this movie, and I'm not sure why. everyone who I make watch this thinks I'm beyond crazy for liking it.
