An update. Tomorrow (Jan 7, 2010) I start radiation treatment. I am nervous and scared. Everyone's good thoughts and prayers have helped so please keep them coming. May the Lord bless you all.

Thanks everyone. Things are progressing as can be expected. Chemo and radiation, although I did have an allergic reaction to one of the chemo meds. God bless you all. When this is all over I hope to see a number of you at Sterling this year so I can thank you in person. I say that because I know I will be there, how can I lose with the cheering section I have.

I just saw this thread! I am sending my prayers and my family as well. Chemo is hard, but it will make you a stronger person. You will persevere, and know that there are many, many folks rooting for you!

Hello everyone. Just to let you know I am halfway through my treatments and in the hospital. I took a turn for the worse, (Chemo week wouldn't you know) and my blood counts went way off. I am improving but I don't know when I will get out of here. Everyone in all the departments have been great. I'm not going to take up the space on here to tell you the whole story, it is a long one. It is on myspace and you don't need to be a member to read it. Thanks for all the prayers and kind thoughts. Bless you all

Oh my friend, I am so sorry to hear this.  You hang in there . You, Irish and me have a date at the tavern at Sterling this year remember ! And i need your help keeping Irish out of  touble.

I'm out of the hospital for now, but it's a full time job taking care of myself. Feeding, running to the privey, the meds and of course just the day to day care of a body undergoing adation. On top of that I need to keeep rested up.
Everyones prayers helped and I thank you all.
