 Luckily today it is only cold rain here! The weekend is looking good!

Neri has been a good kitten today- so far! LOL! The day is still young though!

 I did look awesome and regal too! See Moon Dawg's pictures! The media was awed! I even sang! Danced to Circa Paleo with Dooble the big elf. With this much fun on Media day I can not even begin to imagine how awesome Sherwood will be when it opens!
Today was Mardi Gras! I celebrated with a friend for lunch. Wore beads - let the good times roll!LOL!
Neri is on a good behavior roll! I like it!

Last Saturday was the first time I met Dooble.  The best stage picture was when he was imitating a violin by drawing a stick across his teddy bear.  Definitely memorable.

Is he a cast member at TRF or Scarby?  I'm not sure.

 Dooble was one of the Christmas elves on cast at TRF! He is a great character and friend too!

As an actor, he knows his stuff.  It takes a lot of skill to play the type of character he does.  Not to mention that his garb is well done for the part.

As for me, if I manage to stay in character throughout Sherwood's run, I'll be very happy.

I am fighting off a head cold. Not sinuses. I HOPE I win! I have out all my vast array of potions. Not going to miss any of Sherwood!

What a day! The Nargles were hard at work- but I vanquished them All! Huzzah!

 I beat the cold with a very special potion! Yayyy! Feeling much better.
Neri is not feeling well. She is coming into heat! She is so young for this to start. Not what I need right now with faire starting next Sat. I made a vet appt for her for Wed. She is driving poor Batman crazy.

 I took my wands and staffs and crystals into a shop at Sherwood Forest yesterday.  Macushla and Gary at Medicine Stones will be selling my wares in their shop! Only one week until Faire starts! I am excited! I hope my weather spells work for opening!

OHHH I did not realize it was so close!!! Maybe I can make it to one of the earlier weekends... will have to watch the weather!  Loving the new HHR... gosh but it is so much fun to drive!!!! Working on the kitchen again... got another set of shelving built.. Mike spent the larger part of yesterday doing it.... Still have to cut granite and tile to finish the window ledges and edge of the new counters. I have black paint to redo the fridge when I have time... have to get a cord so I can pull it out! I have to sand and tape off the trim then it will be black to match the stove... cheaper than buying a new one!  Ah well we have to make an appointment for my moms big puppy to get fixed... don't need any broken dogs here! or cats!   We have 2 new baby goats.... Eliza and Lotus... we nearly lost Lotus and the mom took some serious work to get the foot and head turned to the out door... good thing I am a good goat midwife! Eliza looks like her momma... white with grey on the ears,tail and top of the head and little black spot on her nose. Lotus looks like Aunty Orchid marked her.... She is choc and white banded with black trim around her hooves and white striped face... I will get pictures soon. Lotus is already a spoiled braty goat! Next one to pop should be Belladonna the goat I rescued last year.... She is so PRETTY!Well gotta run do chores and all... Have fun at faire hope to see ya soon!

Just changed Neri's Vet appt to Next Monday. I have a local vet who makes house calls! Worried about the weather on the morrow and the local vet is thriftier too. Every little bit helps!
Trying to save my weather spell energies for a good opening weekend for Sherwood! The Evil El Nino is fighting me!

We are discussing a Sherwood visit.. weather will be a big deal breaker! I hate to make that kind of drive and the weather turn up cold and wet...... Well we have someone interested in teh old house... fingers crossed it works out!!!! That would help on MANY levels!

I'm just glad this crappy weather and the snow is hitting today (posting just after midnight, so it is 23 feb atm.)  Better that than hitting this weekend.

So, anyone have plans for this weekend?  I know I do.

 I am SO glad I don't have anywhere to drive today. It was sleeting earlier. The Temp is dropping. Hopefully this bad stuff will clear for a perfect weekend!
I envision a busy weekend for me too!LOL! I have plans for lots of weekends!
