Okay, it seems we have new folks who haven't received the detailed information about the Patrons Campgrounds.

The campgrounds entry is where the two large billboards are located on Highway 290, about 1 mile west of the Highway 21 overpass over Highway 290 and about 11 miles east of McDade.

The campgrounds ticketbooth is just within the entry gate. This is where you can purchase the camping passes. You need to have a printout of an online ticket purchase, a season pass, a VIP or Participant pass, or purchase a Faire ticket. We have VIPs/Participants camping in the Patrons campgrounds. They do not have to pay a camping fee.

Patrons will proceed to the left of the ticket booth. About 200 feet from the ticket booth is a cross-road. If you are not a member of a group in the reserved camping area, you must camp in the General/Open camping area. Take a left at the cross-road. On this road, the quiet camping (no generators or loud noise after 10 PM) is on the left and the rowdy camping is on the right (close to the bonfire/drumming circle).

There were several misunderstandings this past weekend, where folks setup camp in areas around the reserved camping areas. These areas are for parking for the reserved groups.

If you have a large group that would like to reserve an area for camping, I have a waiting list. Contact me either at camping@sherwoodfor estfaire. com or contact me as I tour the campgrounds. I filled two reserved areas this past weekend, as the group leader of a large area released part of his area since he couldn't fill his area.

If you attempt to reserve an area in the General/Open campgrounds, you will find your markers removed when I come onsite each Thursday.

In the reserved group areas, the group is responsible for cleaning up their trash. I have placed two trash containers by each of the port-a-johns. I will haul these bags when I come onsite each Thursday. I will NOT pickup the loose trash on the ground. I also will not pick up the portable toilet bags that have been left by the port-a-johns.

In the General/Open campgrounds, we have provided two trash containers. Deposit your trash here. Over the past three weekends, there has only been a few beer cans or trash left in the area.
