It was just weird being there "naked".  I had to keep looking at people's faces and imagineing them in certain garb to make sure they were the right people.  It was nice finally seeing "family" again.   ;D   Not to mention new friends.

It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

I did that once..... but the cast and performers weren't there yet so we all sat around and drank like Scots and the management asked me to never do that again.

Garb is selected and hanging on the "outgoing" peg. Passes secure, accessories packed, atomic batteries to power - turbines to speed "ready Robin?" "ready Batman"...Okay gettin' a little goofy with anticipation. I can feel the magic, hear the cannon fire, see the gates open....the music, the friends, the fun and the turkey legs.

I will be in desperate need of faire by the time this week ends.

People are really trying my patience and the schedule at work is taking a bit to adjust to.

Heck Elo, I'm already in desperate need of faire!  We didn't get to go to SWFF so I'm jonesing bad!  Plus we didn't get to go to some other faires that I know you went to recently.... lucky girl!  See you this weekend my faire-daughter!  :-*
