my favorite is HRH Henry VIII at Scaroborough. Just brings out the mannerisms and regal bearing of that specific royal from history

King Allyn of GCRF!!!

And, of course, King Henry (aka Fred) of MDRF.  And Queen Elizabeth I of TNRF.
I don't know what you've heard, none of it is factual, but it's all true.

QEI at TNRen...Our own Syrilla.  And not just because of that.  She's a dead-ringer for the real one, she makes all of her own gowns with the utmost attention to detail and she's just tirelessly sweet to everyone, no matter how big or small, no matter how hot or cold it is, in pouring rain, choking dust and drenching humidity.

what thee has spoken our dear Lady Nicolette, is so true. additionally our Syrilla was QE1 in LARF when we had visit'd there in 2007.

I have to say that I grew up admiring the late Bill Huttel as King Henry VIII.

I miss him.

Queen Elizabeth I at TNRF!

I second this vote!  The TNRF Queen Elizabeth is by far the best I've seen so far on the Faire circuit!  She's beautiful, has the speech, dress and mannerisms down pat.  Of course, I would know this since I did live during that time, and all.  *LOL*

Syrilla...Queen Elizabeth for LARF and TNRF has always been my favorite, but since I've started going to Scarborough, Henry VIII is now tied with Syrilla  in my book  ;)  They make it so easy to believe in all the magic that is Faire! ;)
