we will be their on Sat.

I think I recogniozed your lady but since we had my sister with us I was distracted before I figured out why she looked familiar.
Please come over and say hello if I look distracted. I probably am trying to decide if you are really you! LOL!

Bummed to have missed opening weekend.  But if all goes well we'll get to go up for closing weekend.  Unfortunately, I have prior commitments so we can't even make Rendevous.

Hope to see all the great things I've read about on closing weekend.

Did anyone else meet the lovely couple from MNRF? I can't remember their exact names but they were Earl and Countess Somebody.
They had marvelous Elizabethan garb.

They joined us for the Royal Luncheon, had a very nice talk with them.

It was great talking with you.  We wish we could have spent more time with you.  The pink pirate had wanted to talk to you but you had already left by the time he came ove.  I hope your trip was eventful.  Hope to see you again sometime.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

A gracious grammercy for allowing us to sit, eat and converse with all of you!

By the way, what was the name of that delicious pie and lady Mary's band?

Good eve to the most gracious hosts of Scarborough,
Alas, my Lord Gauwyn and I now find ourselves at home in Iowa. Scarborough was a hiatis in a busy time and most agreeable to our souls. It was most pleasant to meet Lady Kett, DonaCatalina, LadyStitch, and I would be amiss to not mention the many Highlanders we conversed with prior to opening cannon. A special thanks to Lord Suffolk for our introduction at court. Me thinks he doth not partake in the forum so if one might pass along our appreciation we would be in your debt. Luncheon with His Majesty, Lady Mary, Lord Suffolk, and Lord Shrewsbury(?) was most enjoyable. Although aware of the custom of eating with the right hand and taking food from the tray with the left, I found it difficult and must practice so as not to embarrass my Lord before his Majesty and others of such noble birth again. ( I'm sure my 10 year old son will enjoy watching me practice at the dinner table and will want to practice with me.) I can not say enough about the historical lectures and those that participated. I could go on and on , but suffice it to say we shall see you anon.
I pray thee have the merriest of days for the joy you have brought to ours.

Lady Addilay
Of Course!  More wine!

M'lady's issue with the eating also stems from being "cursed" with left-handedness.

Also, will there be any taxes levied by the King for the amount of 'land' (Scarby mud) that we brought back home with us??   :D

We enjoyed ourselves immensely!!
