I was thinking of purchasing a mug for this upcoming faire season. Having never used a mug before at faire, I'm a little nervous about it. Is it okay to ask that your mug be filled when you purchase a drink at Sterling? I don't want to do anything frowned upon or wrong, so I figured I'd ask before I purchased a mug for faire. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi Elinor!  The servers never blink twice when I present my mug for filling, and they even sell SRF goblets and such at the taverns too.  Usually they'll first pour into their disposable cups and then into your mug to be sure they've got the size right.  Maybe once in 30 fills have they just handed me a cup and I just transferred it over myself, no big whoop.

PS - There's very little you could do at SRF to be "frowned upon", it's such a wonderful atmosphere and (IMO) has a warm "family" feeling amongst the playtrons and cast.  No worries!

Thanks NicoleBridget for your response :) And true, Sterling does have a very welcoming atmosphere, I just get nervous ;)
