A Captains Wench

It's always Beer:30 here....

*sigh* So many kilts, so little time......

That burner and pot Tarac had at Twig works perfectly for corn!  (and wash water, and coffee water...)

Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Items bringing:

1 shade canopy with 2 side panels
large cooler of lemonade type beverage for kids or adults (who can then add their own "seasoning")
**does everyone have cups or should I bring some of those, too?**  Ah hell, have to bring some for the kids, anyway.
Hot dogs/buns/condiments (the kids will be happier with that than anything I might be making)
Pasta salad to share
Various fruit for breakfast
Crockpot of something "dinner-ish"
Various snacks with dip

What else?!?

Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Leyla

Is it time for WIRF yet???  I'm up for that ales and tales thingy, we'll have to maybe organize when gates open and get tickets right away.

Marietta Graziella

Ales and Tales sounds fun but the boys wouldn't sit still long enough.  For those that go, enjoy!

Also bringing the blender.

Seems the extra microwave disappear..oh well we all have to rough it at times.

Very posh.

And surprise!  I'll be wearing my first piece of pirate gear!

Kiss-me-Kate

OK, I'll bite.  Baron, what is the blender for?

Well I've got some of those ice things, flavored ice...you know Mr. Freezer or what every their called.

And since I'm bring a fridge...yes I am...was thinking that those and a little vodka with a few ice cubes...

yes, posh camping.  Still looking for a tent a/c unit.

Was overruled on bringing the flat screen and satellite dish, but the easy boy is still not out of the question.  In negotiations now.

Baron Doune

Really...my first piece of pirate gear.

And it's not that T-shirt..."So many pirates, so little rope".

Will be wearing it on Friday.

errrgh (did I get that right?)

Marietta Graziella

Ah, the eternal question...

To pirate, or not to pirate.  Yes, I have pondered the same thing many times whilst standing overheated in my many layers...

The dread pirate MG....sounds good.  ;D With shovel sword in hand and a bottle of rum in the other.....  ;)
BLOODY HELL!!!!
..It is only a flesh wound..
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Baron Doune

I don't really hate pirates Rage...They're very good with A-1 sauce and asparagus.  (ya dumb smiley thing here)

And have been doing a little history on them the past few weeks.  The whole Spain/Portugal, English and Dutch around 1566 (?) or so.

Just can't get the liking of rum tho...the whole bible/rum/slave triangle.

Opps...sorry, back to topic...arrrrrrrph. (needs work)

Here is some info from the campground owner, Sir Abish's wife.

Hello Kate:

I do believe that my husband has a designated area for you.

We can make sure that you have a fire ring for your group.  We do have
wood for sale -- it is not included in the price of the camping -- it is
$4.00 per bundle.

We are within walking distance to the faire grounds -- it is a little
bit of a walk though.  We are charging for parking in fairegrounds this
year.  The money is going to a charity.

Usually check out on Sunday is 2 PM.  However, if you are enjoying
yourselves at the faire, I would much rather have you there then
worrying about packing up and leaving by 2 PM.

Something to consider, kids:

Some people are daytripping it.  See if it worthwhile to carvan/ride share.

Make sure you pay the main driver gas money, don't be cheap- gas isn't.

Do the "green" thing.  Okay, sorry I thought that guilt might work.

Also, what time do we want to meet to buy our group rate tickets at the gate?  Or does that have to be bought ahead of time?

Belinda Jensen says rain on Friday.  Of course that could change ten times before then.

Oh,if you have any questions, please read the page 12 located on page five of this thread.
