Jimmy Buffett's coming to town in May! Sadly I has no job so I debated going.... THEN I found a Pirate Parrot Hat! I think I have to get the hat and go now!

DO IT!  My shark hat is in storage, so I'll have to rustle up another one.  My mom knows exactly where her cheeseburger hat, t shirt, & margarita mardi gras beads are.

What I'm craving is just a little bit of paradise...  Some sun, sand, maybe a frozen concoction or two.  I was supposed to be headed to Florida at the end of this week, but finances and the vagaries of life have sent me in another direction, instead.  No surf, but I'll be in the Memphis area, so I'm sure I'll be able to find a little rock-n-roll somewhere...

Ahoy, Landsharks!

Here be one scurvy ol'seadog that is headed for a week in Charleston, SC!  I'm contacting a restaurant out there called The Buccaneer and plan on taking a few of me crew and doing some pirate poetry!  If, that is, they don't try to throw us out of the place.  If that happens, woe unto the poor lubbers!  If anyone is in the Charleston area next week (the week of St. Patrick's Day) drop me a line and we'll meet up for a green beer or two!

If ya get a chance, head out to the new Jimmy Buffett concert tour.  My mom & I went last night and the margaritas were cold and the music was hot.  Lots of fun.

As much fun as it was, it was - I'm sorry to say - my last concert at that particular venue.   Neither one of us could get comfortable  and it's too an expensive a night to sit out in the vendors' area, which is what we ended up doing.

I'll try to remember to post when they do their live concerts on internet radio.  Phins UP, Landsharks!
