next weekend

criers have been sent out
townspeople and countryfolk alike are being told
the gates of sherwood are being opened wide
a summer celebration
under the protection of robin
children will play in the sand and water
beneath the trees
a feast from many ovens
ale will flow
dance and music will commense
when the sun sets
the spirit of the wood calls to our hearts
and we will sing aloud
and howl at the heavens
as our ancestors did
