I bet it is Rani. You all are so lucky to have such good places with such good stuff where you live. If I am ever down that way I will have to stop by and try what they have including the cheesecake you mentioned earlier.

My niece worked at Braums and brought me some of their strawberry cheesecake. It's to die for.

All of the ice cream pies are just way too yummy!!!  My aunt lives in St. Louis, where they don't have Braum's, and she'll come down here and ship a box of ice cream and dry ice home, and drive home eating a half gallon between her and my uncle... and finish it before they leave the state!  LOL

Fresh Green Beans and New Potatoes (from the local farmers market) - bacon and butter pot-liquor (EVIL!)

and likely for desert, fruit salad with cantalope, mango, kiwi and grapes.

And of course just a "few" cold beers for the grillmeister!!!

Time for grocery shopping for us again, also.  I have a few menus i mind for the coming week, and fruit salad figures prominently in at least a few of them (including the beautiful watermelon I have chilling right now!).  Oh, and I seem to be out of a few of the ingredients for my pancakes, also...    They're a dinnertime fave around here, at least a couple of times a month!  Real Vermont maple syrup and homemade butter that my renlet and I make ourselves from fresh sweet cream from a local dairy...  Mmmmm, maybe tonight! 

Although... tostadas with beef, beans and yellow rice suddenly sounds really good, also, and I already have all the fixin's right here...    heheh

But tonight we are having chicken and rice. Nothing fancy but it tastes good,lol.

My special tuna salad sandwiches on whole multi-grain bread, with the good pickles, field greens and baby spinach salad with diced tomatoes, cucumbers and yellow squash.  For dessert, honeydew and watermelon salad with blueberries, grapes and walnuts!  It's a salad kind of day, I guess...  heheh

Turkey burgers, seasoned with basil, garlic, and fresh ground pepper. Done with melted colby jack, mayo, mustard, and dill relish. On a whole wheat bun.
