What am I doing this year at fest?

I don't want to wish the summer away, so I won't say "I can't wait," so I'll just jump up and down a lot and clap my hands!

I will be selling my fine art at my shop, number 228, up by the front gate. Stop in if you are around.

I think I'm gonna join the Terpsichory musicians. I'm going to a rehearsal next week to make sure it's for me, but I've been wanting to get involved musically at Fest, and I'm pretty excited about this opportunity.

Selling beer was fun, and especially working at Mac's with all the pirates and great music, but since I don't actually *like* beer, it was a little odd at times. I'm still trying to find my niche at Fest, and beer wenching just wasn't it. *shrug*

I'm just happy they actually are having a pirate-themed weekend for a change.  Saves me the trouble of "declaring" an unofficial one again this season.

Pirates are known for rebelling against the system.  I think it would be especially pirate-esque if you and the lady dressed in civies that weekend, to rebel against authority's allowance of your rebellion.

But wait, oh no, I just had a thought.... what if the performance overlap with Four Pints Shy's performances?? That would be no good! Anyone have a grid or program from last year so I can check what time 4PS's shows were? Come to think of it, I might have one in the trunk of my car....

Gin and I will be doing what we always do. Strolling the lanes and having fun! Though, I may have a gig lined up to do a little part time work breaking a booth. Not sure, yet, though. Been in touch with the owner and we are discussing things (we've been talking back and forth for a few months now). I don't want no pay for my services, only the ability to stay on grounds after hours! But, and there's always the but, I have not decided if I want to commit to anything. I kinda like coming and going as I please and doing what I want when I want. Not sure if I can commit to working for someone, if even only on a part time basis.....We shall see.....
