Opening Weekend Forecast!

BOOO MG...I'm there labor day weekend as well!! grrr I wanted to see you!  Oh well...plans are adrift to get me up again before season is up...ill keep ya posted...

Scratch the earlier post.  They're back in wild disagreement.  AccuWeather says hot and humid, Weather Channel says warm and pleasant.  Either way, it's a party.

In a rare and baffling agreement of disparate computer models, both AccuWeather and The Weather Channel are currently predicting sunny skies and highs around 80 for both days of opening weekend.   

Yaaayyy! I don't mind a little rain, but although the wash-out weekend a couple years ago was fun, I prefer sunshine. Especially with my flute out there.

Just checked a couple of sites...   they agree on 85 and sunny/partly cloudy...  no mention of rain!!!

Channel 5 tv news said 90 and humid for Sunday. I hope that isn't true.

weather.com is saying 90 on Sat. and 91 on Sun.

weatherunderground.com is saying 85 on Sat. and 88 on Sun.

bleh..... it's gonna be a sticky hot gross opening weekend..... 

I hope the bodice chiller lady is ready!!!!  I needs some ice!!

Noooooo!!! I already feel like my fairy costume looks like I've stuck itty bitty wings on an elephant (nothing spritely, ethereal, or light and graceful here right now) add sweaty and swollen and I just may end up in mundanes for the weekend.

Looks to me like there's perfect fest weather in the forcast.  I'm thirsty already.

The latest forecast for this weekend is why I wish Fest opened on Labor Day Weekend every year and ran into October! I So HATE hot and humid it is not even funny. I would much prefer being at Fest on a 60 degree day then a 90 degree day any day!...It's a good thing I have hot weather garb now!...LoL

Even with that, on a hot and humid day we will be gone by 1 or 2 pm.....

I concur! My poor little hands turn the same color as my pants if it is 60 out... not the best for the bubble fairy.

The cold don't bother me in the least. I much prefer it to the heat any day. In fact I'd much prefer strolling the lanes at Fest with a gentle snow falling then I would on a 90 degree day any time. I guess I am just that cold blooded.

Take the heat and go south! We don't need that hot weather stuff up here in the north, I say!...LoL

I was born in July... on a 95 degree day...  hence this True Minnesotian will freeze fast!

But snow would be interesting.. I might make myself a back up costume... someone said when it snows I go from Jewel the Water Faerie to Krystal the Ice Faerie... I should probably prepare for that... as Minnesota is doing her best to display her widest possible range of temperatures to us this year! And I guess for the sake of everyone else I would also like it to be cooler... the water will be going fast!
