 Thunder here but no rain. We had a short power outage that messed up my A/C for a bit. I NEED faire!

Third Ward/Museum District area got about twenty to thirty minutes of rain yesterday that's about it.

It actually looks like there might have been a tiny bit of rain in the night here, but all that's left are a few tiny puddles, and now the clouds are breaking up and it's getting hot again...    (sigh)  I need Fall first... quickly followed by Faire!

I work just south of Tomball, around SH249.  The rain was pretty much vertical and lasted for a long time.  We live in northwest Magnolia and saw it there too, then a lighter rain throughout the evening.

My guess is that TRF was hit by it as well since we are only about 5 minutes from there.  Which I think is good and not so good.  Good for the vegetation, perhaps not so good for cast tents that may have been blown about a bit....

It was POURING yesterday on 1960. I'm not sure how much farther north, but I got on I-45 south, and it only stopped raining just north of 249. It didn't last very long, but it was wet (my favorite kind of weather--I love when it pours)

yeah, it rained in Austin yesterday- it fell from the clouds and EVAPORATED. Literally, I walked outside and occasionaly felt a little mist, but nothing made it to the ground. *sigh*

Update: seems I won't be working faire this year. I just found out, on very short notice I might add, that the forge has been handed over to someone else who will be bringing in his own crew. Considering the cost of tickets, unless someone else has need of a smith or a barbarian character, we're out for this year. To say I am heartsick and wounded is an understatement, especially considering the circumstances.

That sucks.  I hope you can still come out a few weekends.  You need to show off the baby!

It rained here!!!  For about 5 minutes... and nothing substantial.  But, hey, it was RAIN!!!  Oh, and now... it's steam.

We'll be out opening for sure, probably AHE. If we can find someone that needs folks to walk parade for them in exchange for a pass, we might even be able to be out every weekend
