I'm actually in suburban OKC, which is even a bit closer, but I also have my renlet, making that cheap round trip about $350 after taxes, which is more than I have to spend on TRF this year, much less that AND Sherwood...  I'm hoping to have some pouches ready to sell soon so I can try to make a little extra cash for Faire, and I'll be busking at King's Champion Medieval Faire next month in Tulsa (must be where that idea came from), so hopefully I'll make at least a few ducats there, as well.  Being a single mom with no child support means it's all up to me, and having to beg my mom to keep my daughter one weekend a year is about all I can stand, so I seldom go anywhere without her...

I knew you were in the Houston area ... I was just suggesting that Rani fly to Houston and ride along with you to the Sherwood Forest Faire Gathering on Labor Day weekend.   

I'm going to be visiting my parents over Labor Day, where they live in MN during the Summer, and we'll be going to the MN Ren Faire.  Otherwise, I might could have provided a lift to Sherwood.
