We need days like today at Fest! Highs around 70 degrees! Perfect weather for Fest!

If highs are in the mid 80's again this weekend, that means we will probably be off the grounds by mid afternoon again. If Highs are going to be in the 90's then we will probably sit this weekend out and just stay home. Hot weather and Fest just don't work for us.

weather.com is saying high of 87 both days- windy Sat and sunny Sun- or at least that is what it said around 2 this afternoon...

The National Weather Service ( I think in Chanhassan) says  88 and humid for Sat., 89, humid and breezy for Sun. Not liking that at all. I also wish it would be like it was today, 70s, sunny and low dewpoint.

Hoping to be there this weekend and then the weekend of september 25th for sure! Probably a time or two between that.
I wish this weekend was going to be like today as well.

Mairte - if you make it this weekend make sure you say hi. I am the street character with the red hat and a cat and bird on her shoulders - sometimes I hold the cat it varies. I will be up front the first hour or so of opening.     otherwise flag me down if you see me wandering by.  Can't wait to meet you!

auntiegiggles, I will do that!!! I am somewhat shy but very interested in participating in renn fest so will gather up my courage. Provided nothing changes and I make it up there this weekend, only one other person will be with me, but on the 25th so far we have eight people going.

Weather.com says 88, windy, and 55% humidity.  that's VERY doable!

Well I'm still debating on outfits... trying to gauge the weather for optimal comfort.

Do I wear the charteuse gown and epic hat and just skip the sleeves for coolness or show off the new pirate?

But you are correct, wind blasted epic hat would be sad.

Oh, also dear friends, Trish (from the pub nights) will be out with me on Saturday.  Since I'm actually working that day, would love if someone invited her to wander about.  She's picking up her ticket at will-call and coming in at cannon.  She hasn't been to MN ren faire since she was 15.  I'll probably have to meet her up front to show her where the booth is.
