Bonnie, I think the chiropractor and keeping up with the E stim (your chiro can do this for you) will do the trick. If the muscle was tight from being pulled, it may be pulling you sacroilliac joint out of wack, or going into spasm. The e stim will calm down and reset the soft tissue while the chiro will keep your joint in place while everything heals. Genltle massage in the area of the pull can help too.

Speaking from my own experince here. I know you'll feel better soon! Give it four or five treatments. I'm sure of it.

YUP works a dream... I need to go in again now...but I have bunches of stuff to do that are lifting so will wait!  Keep us up to date on your pain so we can harrass it out of you!<HEHE>

Queen Bonnie

I went to a chiro yesterday! I got some relief! Yayyy! My Tens unit arrived last PM so I can keep up with that at home.I LOVE it! Bring on the painkilling vibes!  Feeling a bit better! I will go back to see my chiro and canceled the expensive PT. PT works but takes more time than I have money.
Filling in the 6 foot trench. LOL.Hopefully I will be dancing and pain free by TRF!
HUZZAH! Medication time soon! Red wine tonight- in the pool! My friend Jonell is coming over to medicate with me! She had knee surgery.

PT only works if there is something to fix...  Having a place out in your back or neck is not a broke spot it is simply a needs to be put back spot! PT can also make pain worse if it is a sore muscle from a disk being on a nerve!  Trust me I know these things...WELL! I need to go in this week... and momma slipped down a slope this am while feeding the cow...it is not a major thing and not tall but it does hurt when you hit wet grass and go BOOM! So she will need it too!  Guess we go tomorrow or fri! Glad you are feeling better...and yes self medicating with rum or scotch is the best meds there are!

Queen Bonnie

I hope you and your Mom get feeling better Cat! HUGS to you both!
I am nearly pain free this AM! That Tens unit works miracles!I can't believe how good I feel!
I feel like dancing!
I have been in pain for months! I am so happy!
I will go back to my Chiro next week- but keeping up with the Tens treatments AM and PM!

OH YEAH! Chiro always helps... now if he could just get rid of the allergies!!! But NOTHING can do that! The weed pollen is so bad right now I wake up with my eyes closed and my nose stuffy! UGGH! But the new(to us) sound system is making Momma Mia sound AWESOME! Blows the doors off anything we EVER had!  Makes me feel like dancing!!!!! SOOOO glad you are feeling better..told ya chiro would fix ya up!

Sir Martin

Hope you all keep on feeling better.  Maybe the upcoming cooler weather will help with the allergies also.

Queen Bonnie

Sounds like a fun day! We worked all day...cut back the fig tree and painted all but 2 walls of my mom house...then ran out of paint...so Mike will have to bring a bucket home next week! Friday my mom and I mowed and sprayed the front pasture... So I think I am beat...but I am too tired to be sure! Still need to finish my bodice and wings...maybe tomorrow!!!

Queen Bonnie

Sounds like a busy time there Cat! Whew! It makes me tired just to read about all your work!
The winery trip was fun but a long ride. It brought back happy memories of when Bob and I used to go there. He loved wineries!
My back is a bit sore this AM but I will see the chiro next week again.

What a nice day. :) I'd love to visit a winery. We do have a couple here, or so I hear, but I've not taken the trip out. Tried very hard to make it up the coast of California to visit the vineyards there, but the weather refused to cooperate. One day...What types of grapes do they grow in Texas?

Glad to hear you feel better for the most part Bonnie! It will take a while for everything to get completly back to normal. Have patience with yourself. It took a while for your back to get to this point it will take a while for it to heal.

You have a fig tree Cat? We had a fig tree at our house when I was a kid. Such a treat.

C Dragonworks

OH many types grow here but they use native Muskadine stock for many of the graft stocks... I have a couple of Cabs and a merlot grape growing here... still need to stake them sadly things need stuff they just don't get!   Yeah my mom has the green fig that grows behind her house(we swear she bought the tree not the house) it was as big as a 2 story house but has had a rough time of late. It is very old and the center rotted out so many of the large main branches are falling over at the ground with only a thin run of bark holding them...so I have been pruning and leaving the rooted to the ground branches to replace the lost center... trust me it is still HUGE!!! We also have at least 5 other figs on the place. Many are cuttings I rooted off friends trees! Figs are lovely that way! I bought and olive tree which is growing well in its pot.. I wanted to get a bit of size on it before finding it a permanent home!  TX has so many lovely trees but the freeze last year was brutal! We have several wineries close by here now....maybe Bonnie and I will drive over on friday to check them out!!!

Queen Bonnie

I have a fig tree too. It is suffering because of the drought. We need RAIN!I adore figs! Cat made some awesome fig jam last year. All gone- hint hint! I had about 6 figs from my tree this year.
Fun to visit the wineries near you Cat! Lets do it!
Becker in Stonewall TX is a favorite of mine!
TX has some very good wines!
Back to the Chiro tomorrow! I hope he snaps me good!
Nice to feel better and I am trying to take it easy- but I want the pain gone!
Patience is not one of my virtues!
