Dad's in hospital

My mom just called to tell me that my dad is in the hospital.  Apparently he had an partially obstructed bowel  for 2-3 weeks, but now it is fully obstructed and impacted.   He already has a whole list of medical problems to start with and this is not helping much.
I would like him around a little while longer telling me his silly stories over and over again.

If you have a spare momment can you send him good thoughts.

All the positive energy must be working.  Turns out what ever it is is NOT cancer, but it is moving and working it's way out.  He no longer has a tube down his nose, and he is allowed to eat things by mouth now.  Considering he is flirting with the nurses and giving my mum a hard time about it being her cooking that did this to him.  I have to say he is on the mend.

That is great news lass.  Hope he gets to go home soon.

He actually went home last night.  The Doctor's are not sure what it was that caused the blockage.  Their best guess is "scar tissue", but what matters is that passed.  He is back to eating solid foods but they decreed no streaks, things with bones, or anything that could possibly uh ... clog the pipes again for a while. If he has anymore digestive issues he is supose to call his doctor.
