Well went to the dr. He said I am one smart cookie for coming in this early I caught the beginnings of a nasty sinus infection which would have loved all this colder air and happily migrated to my lungs and met up with mr. bronchitis and made little bronchitis babies and made me very very sick. SO I am on vocal rest which means I cannot sub tomorrow... and hopefully the shot, mucinex, cough syrup with codine, antibiotics and arsenal of asthma allergy products fix me up for saturday!

I'm so sad that I'll miss you again this year, Blackbead...    At some point it would be nice to actually meet you in person! 

Haven't I told you?  I have a dream where we all meet together, all the poets, authors and artists who contributed to the two books, and we have a feast and a festival all our own!  It's going to happen someday . . . no, really!  It is!  I'd love to be able to pay for everyone to come to Treasure Island in Vegas or the POTC hotel in Orlando and we'd spend three days there just talking and sitting by the pool and eating and drinking and telling tales.

In garb, I hope!
