We are hearing word on the wire that due to the drawdown our contract may end in January, so I might be back in time for Sherwood, but I have already been approached by another company to be picked up as a medic (paying disgustingly higher salary than I am making now), so I may wind up back over here again afterwards. I want to give Sherwood a go, recent events and changes at TRF have left me unhappy with the direction it seems to be going, which is heartbreaking as that has been my home faire for over 20 years. We'll see how it all turns out, though. Hope to see as many of you as possible there

We will be leaving Wednesday...and should be out to the camp grounds bright and early on Turkey Day

We won't be out until Saturday night.  I'm the family cook so i have to do T-Day at home.  I've tasted what the rest of the family calls "Thanksgiving dinner"   and they all seem to prefer me manning the smoker & stove over anyone else.  Best part is the drinking begins when that bird hits the smoker at 6am Thursday morning... i'll be flavoring my coffee, this year, with banana nut bread loki.

I... am sick.  The hit-you-hard-and-fast-and knock-you-on-your-@$$ kind of sick, and not the wimpy take-a-pill-and-deal kind of sick...  Been in bed all day, and I'm headed back there soon, after I make sure Scally has something for an after-school snack (that she will make herself, since I don't want to pass these germs BACK to her). 

I WILL be better by next week, because I am going to hunt these germs down and strangle the life out of them, by whatever means necessary!!!

Thank you, Bonny.  Right now I just want my mommy... but she's staying as far away as possible so she doesn't get sick...    heheh  Whose idea was it to grow up and have a family of my own to take care of, anyway?!?   

I want ice cream... and soup.  Maybe even at the same time.  Remember when you were little and sick, and you could make requests like that and actually GET it?
