Well, when the thread owner doesn't even bother to post, what can you expect from everyone else?   

'Sides, everyone is prolly uber busy with holiday prep and the like... and trying to figure out where to buy the latest SuperUniversalDestruction3DWOWexpansionWiineuralinterface gadget... 

(weird... auto-spell-check has a hissy fit over "prolly" {AND over "hissy", btw}, but doesn't bat an eye over that craziness there at the end... hmmm...)

I'm not waiting till TRF to see y'all again. I agree with Rani, You'll need a break for a day trip by then. We need to have some gatherings too.

I miss everybuddy terribly, and feel like, in some ways, I was somehow robbed of Faire this season! Where did the time go? And why didn't I make better use of the time I had?

It was great to be able to camp most of the weekends, but it seems like almost every weekend something would go awry, be it getting sick, freezing cold, brusing of ribs/hipbones via ubercorseting, allergies, personal issues w a few meaniepants, or whatever. I really am sorry that I could not spend more time with a lot of y'all this year, but even during some very rough patches and tough times, you were all there for me. <3 I really cannot thank my fairemily enough for always loving me for who I am, regardless of the sometimes stupid and "wtf?" decisions and mistakes I seem to fall into making every season. I think I learned a lot this season about myself and about the true value of my fairemily, and that, at the end of the day, you guys are really all I need to feel loved and to feel like I actually matter. Thank y'all so much for making this season the BEST season of Faire i've ever had <3

Ohhh, that is so TOTALLY unfair that I can't be there!!!  I'm already deep into Rendrawals, myself, and having to put away garb and Faire accessories in order to make room for holiday decorations is NOT making it easier...

We were talking about trying to put something together, JuJu... Nasty or I will drop you a line when we get something a bit more concrete.  Maybe we all can invade a bar and terrorize the staff...

Now there's an idea!  In fact, OKRF, otherwise known as the Castle at Muskogee, runs through April and May, and I think you all need to come up here and invade for a weekend!

'Twould be nice if the TRF folks could have a "ren-together" sometime. We moved to Houston three years ago and made 5 of 8 weekends this year at TRF, but have never managed to meet anyone from the forums yet.

Rani - We have friends in Wichita who are also rennies and trying to meet up at Muskogee this coming Spring. If it happens, we will surely look you up.

I'm hoping this will be our first season to visit the Castle, although truthfully, Sherwood, Scarby and TRF take precedence with us, because we have so very many wonderful friends at each (even though we have yet to make it to Sherwood...), and since we don't really know anyone who frequents the Castle, we go to the places where we feel at home.  I hope we will manage to make some Renfriends from there this year, however, and we're hoping to at least day-trip a couple of times.

Of course, we could be talked into hosting an invasion, if there were enough people interested in making the journey...    I hear there are a few campgrounds in the area, and an Inn or two, at least.

I think OKRF is just the month of May, but we're thinking about a possible trip next year.  But we HAVE confirmed trips to Sherwood and Scarby, opening weekends of both!

We actually do have local gatherings around houston.  There was a regular Thursday night gathering but I don't know the details.  A monthly get together is usually planned and posted on this site.  But they don't do the gatherings while faire is in session and most likely won't have any during the holidays.
