Looks like the 6 of us will only be going twice this season..... season passes not being offered this year.

2nd week and Scottish week only for us.

I'll probably miss seeing you this season then, son, unless you're going to be around for Sherwood opening weekend.

What the heck Dad? More broken promises? You said you would spend more time at Scarby this season!

I tell you what.... you come to Scarby 3 weekends and I'll come those weekends.

sorry to hear that Merlin II, It burns me up that you will not be coming that much this season (and Im sure you wont be the only one, to beat a dead horse again  ;)  ) because of the elimination of the season pass... anyhow, I purchased my FOFs almost a month ago or more, and still have not recieved my hard copys (I figure it will be in soon, delay was probly because of the holiday break)

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, they just reopened offices today. They've been closed since before XMas.

It suck that the passes are SO much  :-[.
I don't think i will be able to buy one cause we are moving around that time and will have NO extra cash.

Queen Bonnie

Oh Dear! I just found out there are no season passes. Drat! Not sure I will be able to go to Scarby at all with having to beg rides, too.  fie.

Is there anyone we could express these concerns to directly?

Perhaps it was an oversight?

There is the contact us link on the website. A lot of us gave feedback last year when there wasn't a full season of bagpipes and drums and this year we have a full season of them, so it's worth a shot.

I can't help but hope that there will be SOME sort of discount/pass arrangement, either like TRF selling their packet of 17 tickets (which I later learned was a full season :D) or if you go with a 1 day pass, you can flip it to some sort of season ticket in person, just not via website.

I may just be dreaming but I surely hope there is something. After all, once you are in the gate, there should be SOME enticement to keep you coming back.

I still think the $115 for an FOF is not a bad deal. If you had to pay full gate price of $24, that's just over 4 visits. Advance online tickets at $20, it's 5, almost 6 visits.

I'm with you on that, Lady Kett.  I think what makes it hard on some folks is the large family.  Unless it smaller kids, it can get pretty expensive!

One excellent reason to only have 1 child for us! God bless all of you who have more. We could barely keep up with 1!

But ya, know whatcha mean. Really do hope they rethink this policy.

Yea.... I sent 2 messages from the site "contact us" link and got no response from either. Having a family of 4 and we always bring at least 3 others with us... me and 1 daughter always got the FOF because we would come every weekend.... the wife-unit and older daughter would usually come about 4 times so the season pass was perfect. The neighbors always got season passes and would usually go 4 or 5 times.... they aren't going at all this season apparently. Just seems more people are going to come less rather than opt for a FOF pass.

They do have two day passes at the gate saves you $14 over individual tickets.   If you can get a group togeather there is groups tickets for $18 but you have to buy 15 tickets.  I know many people have sent message about no season passes and I admit I don't understand the business reason given but not much we can do at this point.
