I say it is a Irish music fair. This will be it 29th year and i have loved it every time i go. Yes a lot of men wear kilts and a small few were garb (I think it is only the selling it).
They have some were around 37 bands (Clandestine, The Rogues and many more).

For 12 years if you came through the front gate you had to see either his lordship or myself selling tickets.
NTIF is sponsored by the Southwest Celtic Music Association. The purpose is to foster an appreciation of all forms of Celtic music, as well as promote education about Celtic cultures. Quite a few people view it as the part of the faire season in Texas and dress accordingly, more kilts than you can count. There is music all day on several stages, vendor booths and cultural booths. Want to see a lot of Irish Wolfhounds and Scottish Deerhounds? NTIF is your place.
Go out and give it a try. It is a lot of fun.

Merlin, RE: NTIF...

Kilts = most definitely yes!

Mind you, a few on backwards, but hey, you gentlemen are always willing to share some knowledge, eh?

NTIF is a fun place. Music, Shopping, Fair(e) Food. Good times.
